DadàBarcelona is a small company that was founded in response to a gap insocial entertainment for children; where it could be understood as a tool for growth and not just amusement. Born from the experience of a mother wanting to give her children alternative visions, its aim is to be a little risky; a proposal for small people with big aspirations/ambitions. And the desire is to leave the legacy of a better world for children by giving them tools, information and space to face the new challenges and, essentially, to be more free!

I’M PASSIONATE ABOUT SHOWING THAT IT’S POSSIBLE TO LOOK AT THE WORLD IN ANOTHER WAY - ONE’S OWN - AND THAT EVERYONE SHOULD FIND THEIR OWN WAY OF SEEING!

I think that art is the only way to give new meaning to this world that sometimes seems to overlook the little things. I think of education as the main vehicle to bring us there! A inexhaustible range of possibilities within culture that gives wings to children and helps them to undo labels and stereotypes from multiple angles, helping them create their own world where their own ways of doing things is the starting point: the grand point of reference!

I think all kids have a great creative potential and that society does not let children enjoy its great condition ... I would like to leave a bit in their lives and open doors and windows so that they saw new horizons and found other ways!

WE LOOK AT THE WORLD IN ANOTHER WAY

Through observing, we try that children transgress their look to project towards new ways of understanding the universe in a new and proper way . We propose projects every year and seek other workshops in autumn, spring and winter. The idea of the proposals is basically providing the child other ways to make more connected to the world of creativity and art.

We work un a triangular way with art, movement and music to bring us creativity, freedom and wisdom and guide us in a very orderly to balance its own ideals and give us the guidelines to find other perspectives.

The concept is based on words, underworld, themes that we like or find necessary and actuals and the first ideas come from research and references. From there, slowly, we can find a way to design the content and configure every little piece of the project. There is a very interesting turning point where reflections and revisions make us doubt and make us reconsider our concerns; it is a powerful and necessary tool. At this point where we just define external professionals. It's time to shed light on this long journey and conclude it !

Learning is something shared!

 

The general concept of the extrascolar project is to provide children a space - between home and school in order to make parallel activities that motivate their creativity and discovery and learn playing. La idea és plantejar les activitats extraescolars a través del sentits i oferir estructures d’aprenentage integrades són la conjunció de dues o més matèries interaccionades que volen provocar, en tot moment, que el nen ds'enriqueixi i desperti la seva creativitat.

The workshops emerge as a more educational approach focused on schools and art. The general idea comes from the design of a content for the kids to look otherwise; it is a bit more than a new way to educate, it is a growing tool : a bold proposal which is always associated with social learning, cooperation and art as broadly output; we start with alternative concepts, definitions almost isolated from the world of children and discussion topics.

Colonies want to get away from the daily routine and offer a different way to be. We firmly believe that - as in all great cultures - the contemplation and observation are the basis of all knowledge. Also respect for the environment and we want to work with that as a basis for learning in each of our proposals. The proposal is the journey and look of an artist ... we would disappear in the Mallorca’s sky with Miró’s eyes or in the  blue deep and surreal sea of Cadaqués with Dali’s eyes.

"Tallers d’estiu" (summer workshops) are part of a creative, educational and play programme to awaken children's sensitivity, during the hot summer months, by way of various artistic disciplines. The concept is built on three points: dance, music and art, with the space and time for each to find their creativity and, in short, become more free. It is an intensive 15-day summer workshop where each year the art is expressed through different disciplines to give the children breadth of vision and inner resources.
