"Tallers d’estiu" (summer workshops) are part of a creative, educational and play programme to awaken children's sensitivity, during the hot summer months, by way of various artistic disciplines. The concept is built on three points: dance, music and art, with the space and time for each to find their creativity and, in short, become more free.
It is an intensive 15-day summer workshop where each year the art is expressed through different disciplines to give the children breadth of vision and inner resources. This year we decided to form two groups of different ages to explore other rhythms. But the main idea is to have groups of mixed ages and discover diversity of thoughts and creativity, and to enrich their experience.
IN THE 2016 EDITION WE WANTED TO SHOW CHILDREN THE ART OF CLASSICAL THEATRE AS WELL AS A MORE CONTEMPORARY KIND OF THEATRE. OUR IDEA WAS TO TRANSMIT A MESSAGE ABOUT AWARENESS OF CURRENT SOCIAL ISSUES.
WE ALSO WANTED TO TALK ABOUT THEATRE AND GENDER, AND THEATRE AS A FORM OF PROTEST, OR AS A PLATFORM FOR SOLIDARITY. WE WANTED THEM TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE OUTSIDE WORLD AND TO OFFER THEM A WIDE-REACHING PROJECT; A SERIOUS AND CREATIVE WORKSHOP THAT IS PROFESSIONAL AND VERY AMBITIOUS !

Strengthen the child's motor skills (balls, ropes, scarves, rings ...)
Working from body awareness, weight and body suspension. Work fluidity and harmony in the movement and the physical language to express emotions that the child wants to communicate, through the body.

Dotar a l'infant d'eines de moviment i deixar-lo lliure per poder crear i poder, al final, seguir les pautes.
