Aquests dies pensava que les persones haurien de tenir un habitatge digne on poder refugiar-se, descansar, compartir tot els seus mons i estimar. Pensava en que les parets que ens contenen són palaus de d’intimitat que ens haurien de protegir d’allò extern i d’allò aliè; pensava en cada petita part de la meva casa i em refugiava, a poc a poc, en l’idea de la llar i de la pau que em confereix sentir-la. Crec que hauríem de transmetre la nostra llar als nostres fills i fer-los anar més enllà dels formalismes -que tal vegada els reconec vitals - i redefinir les línies i les projeccions de la nostra existència.

Crec que hauríem de tornar a dissenyar la vivenda i ho hauríem de fer des d’una vessant física i d’una altra intel.lectual. Però avui, i després d’aquest confinament, crec que hauríem de dibuixar l’habitatge des d’una vessant emocional, com si puguéssim tornar a jugar a cases de nines…

These days I thought that people would have to have a decent home where they could take refuge, rest, share all their worlds and esteem. I thought that the walls that contain us are palaces of intimacy that would have to protect us from that which is external and from that which is foreign; I thought about each small part of my house and I took refuge, slowly, in the idea of home and the peace that it gives me to feel it. I believe that we should transmit our home to our children and make them go beyond formalism - which I perhaps recognize as vital - and redefine the lines and projections of our existence.

I think we should redesign the house and we should do it from a physical and an intellectual point of view. But today, and after this isolation, I think we should draw the house from an emotional perspective, as if we could play at doll's houses again...
