Construir és crear allò que habitem i allò que ens habita.
Entendre la construcció com un joc d’equilibris per fonamentar i donar forma al que imaginem. Posar columnes a allò que somniem i fer-ho possible. Construir és ajuntar, sumar, materialitzar, reunir, ordenar, erigir, equilibrar, enfortir, fonamentar, projectar, cooperar...
Veiem l’art com una construcció: la reunió de persones i disciplines per crear alguna cosa junts o bé la suma de pensaments per crear un interior quan estem sols: construir-se! Perquè el que volem és créixer amb ells - a través de totes les arts - per inventar un nou món, sense tenir-li por a la gravetat: crear sobre el buit!
Aprendre a observar atentament el que ens envolta per detectar quins sòls estan allà per poder erigir i quins per enfonsar. Crear espais de refugi i empara on acollir la nostra intimitat, un espai idíl·lic per protegir-nos i amb el qual destruir l’hostilitat que ens envolta a través del desig de crear les coses diferent.
Perquè el que volem és construir amb ells el que tenim al nostre abast –una paraula, un objecte, un moviment, un so...- per inventar un nou món, i un món millor. Aprendre a cooperar, sumar esforços per formar als nens una nova consciència de món.
Volem construir d’una altra manera per no oblidar que estem en constant construcció de nosaltres mateixos.
To build is to create what we inhabit and what inhabits us.
Understanding construction as a game of balance which bases and shapes what we imagine; putting columns into our dreams and making them possible. Building is to join, add, materialize, gather, order, erect, balance, strengthen, base, project, cooperate ...
We see art as a construction: it is the meeting of people and disciplines to create something together. It is the sum of thoughts creating a shelter when we are alone building ourselves. We want to grow with the children, through all forms of art, to imagine a world without fear of gravity: to create upon a void!
Learning to carefully observe what surrounds us in order to detect which grounds can be solid foundations. Creating shelters and homes to have our privacy in idyllic spaces to protect us and within which we can destroy the hostility that surrounds us through the desire to create different things.
We want to build with what we have at our disposal - a word, an object, a movement, a sound ... - to invent a new and better world. We want to cooperate with children to train within them a new consciousness of the world which surrounds them.
We want to be building in new ways without forgetting that we are constantly building ourselves.

Des de l’Art de Construir volem acompanyar als nens a la creació d’allò que habitem i allò que ens habita.
Entendre la construcció com un joc d’equilibris per fonamentar i formar el que els nens imaginen.
Posar columnes als que somnien i fer-ho possible.
Els cercarem tot de peces diverses vingudes de l’arquitectura, la música, la literatura… Amb les quals podran construir més enllà del que han vist i qui sap si inventar coses noves.
Perquè el que volem és construir amb ells - a través de totes les arts - el que tenim al nostre abast per inventar un nou món.
Com sempre, vinculem els tallers d’estiu a un projecte social que pugui obrir els nens a altres realitats; construir-los-hi una nova consciència de món.
Aquest any comptem amb la col·laboració de Marc Morro, que a través de la ONG Foundawtion, ha treballat per construir mobles per escoles del Senegal.
En definitiva, volem fer aquests tallers per crear les coses d’una altra manera.
With The Art of Building we want to accompany children to the creation of what we inhabit and what inhabits us - understanding construction as a game of balance that bases and shapes what children imagine.
Erect columns for dreams and make them possible.
We will look for material from various pieces of architecture, music, literature ... with which they can build beyond what they have seen and invent new things.
Because what we want is to build with them with what we have at our disposal - through all the arts - and invent a new world.
As with all our summer workshops, we collaboarate with a social project that can open children to other realities and help them build a new consciousness of the world that surrounds them.
This year we have collaborated with Marc Morro, who, through his NGO Foundation, has worked to build furniture for schools in Senegal.
In short, we want to do these workshops to create things differently.
